![]() ![]() But somehow they got me to do it twice, something I never would have done on my own anywhere else before had I not felt so comfortable! I highly recommend this tour to anyone if you have the time, you should definitely take the time and go try it out, you won’t be disappointed! I have to say the straight jump was the hardest challenge for me, as stepping of a ledge is something I just can’t force myself to do. One of my favorite things was trying the ziplining trick lines. They have water stations set up where you can try some of the produce that they’ve locally grown on the farm as well. This wasn’t your typical zip lining experience, as there were other challenges mixed throughout and you learned things about the island, their culture and the farm along the way. They challenged us all to reach outside of our comfort zones and try new things and not one of us “chickened out”. They made sure that we felt comfortable the entire time we were on our tour while incorporating a feeling of comradery within our group as well. Our guides Reese, Kama and Suvi were very informative and so helpful. I have motion sickness, so I took Dramamine before the activities started and I’m glad I did, as the ATV ride will shake you up and the 3 rope bridges move a lot when you’re walking on them. I enjoyed the views from each zip line, but I think it’s overpriced and they should mention more details about it. They should make all of that very clear before you pay for it, I know some of my friends would not be able to do that pulley thing and it would be too late for any refunds at that point. Most of the group only made it halfway up before needing help from the staff (who helped right away). And this is the part that turned me off: there is one zip line that requires you to pull 1/4 of your weight up on a pulley system to get to the zip line and that was tough. The whole experience was a lot more physically demanding that they lead you to think. Halfway through the 8 zip lines, the hands of everyone in the group were red and sore. First, they should say to bring gloves (it says on TripAdvisor’s page that they provide gloves, but they didn’t give anyone in our group gloves). The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and I felt safe with the equipment, but I was disappointed by the experience. The zip lines were fun and the views were beautiful. *Please Note that all participants must be able to ascend and descend a 6 foot ladder unaided.I was so excited to go zip lining in Honolulu.
